Park Enterprises Ltd. is a contracted provider of Special Inspections in partnership with QAI Laboratories.

All electrical and similar consumer products sold /used in Canada are required to be certified by a certification body or inspected by an inspection body that is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada. Products shipped to Canada without certification or products that are intended to have limited production runs (max 500 units) may be inspected in accordance with Canadian Model Code SPE-1000. The SPE-1000 does not apply to in all cases nor does it substitute certification. Some exemptions where a Special Inspection could not be performed is on equipment in hazardous locations, medical equipment, manlifts, elevators etc.
